A Malaysian, aged 72, Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain was appointed to the Board of MTD Infraperdana on 23 October 2002 and re-designated as Executive Vice-Chairman on 19 February 2003 and subsequently, as Non-Executive Chairman on 23 February 2007.

Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain holds a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore. He served in the Malaysian civil service as Deputy Minister of Works and Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Posts from 1976 to 1984 before venturing into the corporate sector. Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain is also the Group Executive Chairman of MTD Capital Bhd, the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Metacorp Berhad and MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad. He also sits on the board of several private limited companies.

Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain is the father of Haji Nik Fauzi bin Dato’ Nik Hussein, the Executive Vice-Chairman and father-in-law of Dato’ Azmil Khalili bin Dato’ Khalid, the Group Managing Director.

HAJI NIK FAUZI BIN DATO' NIK HUSSEIN

A Malaysian, aged 49, Haji Nik Fauzi was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 1 January 2003. He became the Non-Executive Vice-Chairman on 22 February 2006 and was subsequently re-designated as Executive Vice-Chairman on 5 July 2006.

Haji Nik Fauzi is a graduate from the Institute of Marketing (UK), ITM. He is a businessman by profession and is the Managing Director of Nikvest Sdn Bhd since 1994. He was appointed as Head of Concession Facilities and Services of MTD Prime Sdn Bhd on 1 December 2005. He is also a Director in several private limited companies.

Haji Nik Fauzi is the son of Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain bin Abdul Rahman, the Chairman and brother-in-law of Dato’ Azmil Khalili bin Dato’ Khalid, the Group Managing Director.

DATO' AZMIL KHALILI BIN DATO' KHALID

A Malaysian, aged 48, Dato’ Azmil was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 23 October 2002 and re-designated as Group Managing Director on 19 February 2003.

Dato’ Azmil graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and subsequently with a Masters in Business Administration. He began his career with a United Kingdom company, Tarmac National Construction and upon his return to Malaysia worked for Trust International Insurance and Citibank NA.

He joined MTD Group in 1993 as its General Manager, Corporate Planning. In 1996, he was appointed Group Managing Director of MTD Capital Bhd. In his capacity as MTD Group Managing Director, he concurrently holds the position of Group Managing Director of MTD Capital Bhd, Metacorp Berhad, MTD InfraPerdana Bhd and MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad and also the Chairman of the foreign subsidiaries of MTD Capital Bhd namely, MTD Walkers PLC, a company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, Republic of Sri Lanka and South Luzon Tollway Corporation, Philippines. Apart from MTD Group, Dato’ Azmil is the Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director of Daya Materials Berhad, director of Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd), the Electronic Toll Collection operator and Environment Idaman Sdn Bhd, a solid waste concession company. Dato’ Azmil is also a Trustee of the Perdana Leadership Foundation.

Dato’ Azmil is the son-in-law of Dato’ Dr. Nik Hussain bin Abdul Rahman, the Chairman and brother-in-law of Haji Nik Fauzi bin Dato’ Nik Hussein, the Executive Vice-Chairman.

MD RIJALUDDIN BIN MOHD SALLEH

A Malaysian, aged 48, Md Rijaluddin was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 2 April 2007.

Md Rijaluddin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Leeds, United Kingdom and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Prior to joining Metacorp Berhad, he served at Jabatan Kerja Raya, Projek Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya (PROPEL) and Intria Urus Sdn Bhd. In 1998, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Metacorp Berhad. Currently, he is the General Manager (Concession) for MTD Capital Bhd Group of Companies. He is also a Director in several private limited companies.

DATO' MAZLIN BIN DATO' MD JUNID

Senior Independent Non-Executive Director

A Malaysian, aged 46, Dato’ Mazlin was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 26 February 2002. Dato’ Mazlin is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee.

Dato’ Mazlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton Polytechnic, Sussex, England and Master in Business Administration from Cranfield University, England. He has extensive experience in corporate management, business and finance after serving Sime Darby Bhd and Aspac Executive Search Sdn Bhd as Group Manager and Managing Director respectively. Dato’ Mazlin is currently the Managing Director of Seca Dyme Sdn Bhd and an Executive Vice Chairman of Daya Materials Berhad. He is also an Independent Director and a member of the Audit Committee of Sapura Industrial Berhad and Sapura Technology Berhad. He also sits on the board of several private limited companies.

HAJI NIK MOHAMED TAHIR BIN HJ. MOHAMED

A Malaysian, aged 66, Haji Nik Mohamed Tahir was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 1 January 2003. He is also the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

Haji Nik Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Services and a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University, USA. He has extensive experience in the education field and served in the Ministry of Education from 1963 to 1982. Haji Nik Mohamed was attached to University Teknologi Malaysia from 1983 to 1987 where he held positions as Senior Lecturer, Academic Advisor and Head, Resource Centre. From 1987 to 1999, he was the Chairman of the Student Tutor Program, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He was also a Fellow at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom from May to August 1996. He is the Chairman of Arah Bayu Sdn Bhd.

HAJI SHAIK MOHAMED BIN MOHD SAHED

A Malaysian, aged 55, Haji Shaik Mohamed was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 1 January 2003. He is also a member of the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee.

Haji Shaik Mohamed is a graduate with honours in Law from University of Malaya and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor for the High Court in Malaya in 1978. He has a wide experience in conveyancing (land and property), corporate work, banking and finance work especially in relation to investment banks. He had served as a Legal Advisor in Bumiputra- Commerce Bank Bhd (now known as CIMB Bank Berhad), Kuala Lumpur from 1977 to 1980, after which he became the Legal Advisor/Company Secretary of Pacific Bank Berhad. In 1982, he joined Messrs Kadir, Tan & Ramli as a partner until 1987. He then became a partner in Messrs Wan Marican Hamzah & Shaik. In 1992, he set up his own legal firm, Messrs Shaik Mohamed & Co.

HAJI NIK DIN BIN NIK SULAIMAN

A Malaysian, aged 60, Haji Nik Din was appointed to the Board of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd on 30 March 2006. He is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Haji Nik Din is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), CA(M). He has extensive experience in accounting, auditing and finance. He served in Sime Darby Group from 1992 to 2004, where he held positions as Group Chief Internal Audit Manager and Finance Director. He also worked for Promet Berhad from 1982 to 1992 as Financial Controller and later as Finance Director. He also sits on the board of several private limited companies. Haji Nik Din is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of MTD Capital Bhd.
