Even though MTD Infraperdana’s proposed purchase of Metramac from Metacorp Bhd for RM245mil had been deferred to Dec 21, most analysts expect the deal to be done soon. The company would gain exposure to two Klang Valley-based tolls – the Sungai Besi Expressway and East-West Link, which are already profitable. Based on a six-month contribution from both tolls from the second half of next year onwards, the total toll collection is expected to be RM25.7mil or 12.8% of its revenue in FY06.
